For visits to London (50 miles), Canterbury (30 miles), Rochester (20 Miles) & Maidstone (20 miles), there are good road links to the motorway system with two bridges linking us to the mainland. There is also a mainline railway from Sittingbourne (10 miles) to the centre of London with a connecting line from Sheerness.
The nearest town is Sheerness (6 miles) where there is a selection of shops & good supermarkets, an indoor swimming pool and a sports complex. There are beaches at Minster Lees, Sheerness and Shellness.

ABOUT CLIFFTOP CAMPING
This is off grid camping so there are limited facilities!
We have a compost toilet.
There is a tap at the entrance to the main field.
You can park your car safely in the farm yard or near your pitch.
Camp fires are encouraged.
For bird watching or just an enjoyable walk in the countryside, you may wish to visit the Elmley Marshes Nature Reserve, run by Elmley Conservation Trust, where many species of birds may be seen, both common and rare. Among those found on the reserve are populations of Harriers, Golden Plover, Short-Eared Owls, Avocet, Egret, Heron, Green Plover and at dawn and dusk spectacular amounts of wildfowl.
